Cycle Rental
ProvenceBeyond (Beyond.fr) no longer provides lists of individual cycle shops. Web-based lists of shops are always a bit out of date, and have been superseded by the many social media sites and apps that offer a handy "what's near me" service.
Bicycle rental in French is called location velo. Bikes can be rented from rental-only shops or bicycle sales or repair shops the also offer location.
Many of these bike shops also handle scooters and small motorcycles as well as the bicycles.
Bikes can often be rented from the SNCF (railway stations), but the cost is fairly high and the quality can be poor. The Office de Tourisme in many towns can also direct you bike rentals.
