This compact, evergreen shrub is very aromatic, and often grows in large groups. It has reddish-brown, sticky stems.
Flowers. Apr-June
Flower. Small white flowers with yellow stamens, grow solitary or in clusters of up to 5.
Leaves. Narrow leaves begin bright green, then turn darker green to brown during the summer, and are sticky.
Habitat. Garigue, maquis, and usually on acid soil.
