A 3-hour hike from St-Victor-des-Oules does a loop around the ridge to the south, including a visit to Mont Aigu (241m) and La Madonne at the top (great view), passes through St Hippolyte-de-Montaigu, and does another loop across the farmlands to the village of Flaux to the southeast.
— Of course if you're short on time, the first loop only is very nice, with shade most of the way, and about half the time.

A variety of marked (yellow) 3-4 hour hikes can be done by hiking to any of the surrounding villages and back, and the return part can be done on routes that make it a loop hike. The villages are St Quentin-la-Poterie (west), Villabrix (north), Masmolène (northeast), Flaux (southeast) and St Siffret (southwest).

A loop of Vallabrix, Masmolène, St Victor-des-Oules, St-Hippolyte-de-Montaigu, Vallabrix is about 15 km, with some variants possible.
