Bramousse is a tiny village on the mountainside of the Combe du Queyras, northeast of Guillestre. The village is actually a collection of hamlets, three towards the end of the road and a fourth a bit beyond, with footpath access only.
The main Bramousse hamlet has a very popular gite for overnight hikers, with terrace café and restaurant. The Bramousse chapel has been restored very neatly, but there are no sundials up here.
