Sandwort

Growing only 2 to 15 cm high, hidden in the grass of mountain meadows, they're easy to miss unless you're paying attention. We found them in large scatterings above Lac Negre in the Alpes-Maritimes, at 2400 m. In amongst them we found another tiny, but much more colorful little thing, our Euphrasia Minima.
