Rosa canina Fr: Rosier des Chiens
This is a small deciduous shrub with thorns and twisty stems. The petals can be pink or white, overlapping, about 70 mm across. The blossoms are in clusters of 2 to 5. For height, we've seen them climbing up through trees to over 4 m.
Flowers. Mar-May
Leaves. Sharply toothed elliptical, opposed opposites, with an end leaf.
Habitat. Woodlands and scrub land.
