Lavender Sault

The southwestern part of the Provence lavender fields includes areas
Pays de Sault and
Pays de Apt, with the
Pays de Forcalquier towards the east.
The Pays de Sault is on the southern slopes of Mont Ventoux and down to the top of the Plateau de Vaucluse.
The Pays de Apt lavender area is along the east-west valley around Apt, between the Plateau de Vaucluse at the north and the Luberon mountains at the south.
The Pays de Forcalquier lavender area is east of the Sault-Apt areas, towards the Valensole plateau.
Sault Lavender Area
This lavender region of Sault and Ventoux includes the following towns/villages and sites:

Bédoin,
Brantes,
Monieux,
Saint-Christol d'Albion,
Sault,
Nesque Gorges,
Mont Ventoux and
Vallée du Toulourenc,
Apt Lavender Area
The lavender region of Apt and the Luberon includes the following towns/villages and sites:
Caseneuve,
Gordes,
Lagarde-d Apt,
Rustrel,
Saignon,
St Saturnin-lès-Apt and
Luberon Mountains.
Forcalquier Lavender Area
The Forcalquire lavender region includes the towns/villages and sites:
Forcalquier,
Lurs,
Mane,
St Michel L Observatoire,
Simiane-la-Rotonde,
Montagne de Lure,
Le Canyon d'Oppedette,
Ganagobie and
Salagon Priory.
