These pretty little violets grow on a small bush with distinct stems.
Flowers. Mar-June
Flower. Pale violet, almost white. A short, curved spur is only 3-4 mm long.
Leaves. Oval to lance-shaped, pointed and slightly toothed.
Habitat. Rocky ground, thickets and low scrub; likes calcareous soil.
