 Candytuft Evergreen photo candytuft0005b.jpg

This low, evergreen perennial grows as a subshrub, usually in clumps. Apparent single flowers can be traced back along the creeping stem to the source.

Flowers. Apr-Aug

Flower. The white flowers grow in a broad, flat-topped, clusters on lateral stems.

Habitat. Rocky mountain slopes. We found ours in April, at 600 m altitude, between Draguignan and Chateaudouble in the Var.
