The Saint Martin Lavoir is an open-air wash-house (lavoir) at the edge of vineyards just north of St Victor-la-Coste village.
This open-air version is quite different from the ancient covered lavoirs more common in Provence and the South of France.

The Saint Martin Lavoir is in quite good condition, but it's obviously no longer used for washing clothes. It's in a very peaceful setting, amidst vast fields of grape vines, and just behind the picturesque ruins of the Saint Martin Chapel.
The only break in the quiet out here is the chirping of cicadias and the rather loud croaking of the inhabitants of the lavoir.
