Vinon-sur-Verdon Photo Gallery
/11. Vinon-sur-Verdon old village. Taken on a sunny November day (2009). We stitched together two photos, manually and quickly, so please excuse the irregularities.
/11. Vinon-sur-Verdon campanile. On top of the bell tower, this simple but graceful campanile has a weathervane figure that looks like a cross between a dragon's head and a Tarasque.
/11. Colorful houses in Vinon-sur-Verdon village.
/11. Lovely non-café house in Vinon-sur-Verdon. In the old village this colorful house displays a photo of its previous incarnation as the Café des Amis.

/11. Provencal pink and decorative grape vines in Vinon-sur-Verdon. Still on the Rue du Puits.

/11. Vinon-sur-Verdon north viewed from Vinon-sur-Verdon south.
/11. Interesting old tower house in Vinon-sur-Verdon (Le hameau). Viewed from the old village (previous photo) this looked like a church steeple past the far end of the bridge.
/11. The Verdon river at Vinon-sur-Verdon. Looking east from the bridge, camping and picnic grounds are along the far bank.
/11. Kayaking "rapids" and the Verdon river at Vinon-sur-Verdon. Looking west from the bridge.
