• Ferry service is offered for people, pets. No visitors' automobiles are allowed.
• Bicycles are allowed on the ferry to Porquerolles; there is apparently no cycling on Port Cros island.
• Keep your ticket stub: you'll need it for the return trip.
• Get there early so you can get good seats. Up front can be windy (depending on the weather); outside gives the best view, but be prepared for the sun.
