La Crèche de Haute Provence was a marvelous santon museum and workshop in Greoux-les-Bains. Master santonnier Gérard Moine has moved his work and museum to the nearby village of Valensole, where the new Valensole Santon Museum is open from May to October.
Master santonnier Gérard Moine makes absolutely every santon by hand from clay. He uses no molds, so each one is unique. This is a site worth visiting.
