Two orders of knights that we're interested in are the Knights Templars (Templiers) and the Knights Hospitalers (Hospitaliers). Beyond's interest in these is about how their history relates to the history of Provence and of France. We put the Templars sequentually before the Hospitaliers because, at the end of their day, the Templars were disbanded and their wealth was passed on the the Hospitalers.
