A list of day-trip distance places from Nice, France. Distances [km] from the center of Nice, via the A8 autoroute for most of the destinations. The coastal roads are prettier, and sometimes shorter, but much slower with summer traffic. The two "far" places on our list, Entrevaux and Fréjus, are an hour's drive from Nice. Antibes [22 km] Greek, Roman seaside town popular for beaches, shopping, Picasso museum, Port Vauban yachts.
Auribeau-sur-Siagne [42 km] Ivy-covered perched village at the Gorges de la Siagne, west of Grasse.
Le Bar-sur-Loup [31 km] A one-walled village perched overlooking the Loup river valley; lovingly restored with old houses around 13th-c chàteau and church.
Beaulieu-sur-Mer [10 km] A seaside resort town with shops, shady sidewalks and Casino, as well as beaches and yacht basins.
Biot [27 km] A picturesque and popular medieval village on a hilltop between Antibes and Nice; natural charm and a feeling of antiquity, and active year-round. A "Plus Beaux Detours de France".

Fréjus [65 km] Mediterranean port town from Roman times, with shops, pedestrian streets, dining and hotels, nice stone cathedral, and large Roman aqueduct.
Gorbio [34 km] A lovely little medieval perched village hidden in the hills just inland from the Mediterranean coast.
