 Local Rail photo beaulieu-mer-train0006bb.jpg

Provence and the South of France has a rail network of local train lines connecting inland area towns and villages with the main TGV lines mainly along the Mediterranean coast.
Trains and Buses. The "Trains Express Régionaux" (TER) is the French regional network of trains and buses. Some of the regional train routes are run in conjunction with the bus lines to complete the overall transportation network. If you don't see the train you need here, check Beyond's Travel-Bus page.

The official SNCF website for the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur network is available at   www.ter.sncf.com/paca/aide/travel-by-train-in-paca . This SNCF webpage has links for the TER Network Map and Timetables.

If the Network Map link doesn't work, try the PDF download link (from the TER French site): SNCF download network map PDF .
