This dolmen, just a few minutes walk from Mons village, has a rare vaulted entry formed from a pair of curved stones.

The capstone is missing from the top, but could be one of the slabs laying nearby. A pair of parallel slabs mark the entry to the tomb. One interior wall is formed of a single stone slab, while the other wall is made from shaped stones.
Location of the Riens Dolmen
The Riens dolmen is located just over 1 km northeast of Mons village. From the northeast end of the village, start out the road in the direction of Saint Cezaire; immediately turn left onto the street marked with signs for Les Ferrages, Capello St Pierre, Rians. About 800 m out this road you'll pass the little chapel, Capello St Pierre. About 100 m further on, the Riens dolmen sits off to the right-hand (east) side of the road.
